Autism Services Demonstration
The Enhanced Access to Autism Services Demonstration is an enhancement to TRICARE’s Extended Care Health Option (
ECHO) program for those beneficiaries with certain diagnoses for autism spectrum disorders. This demonstration
project allows reimbursement for applied behavior analysis (
ABA)
services rendered by a tutor who is supervised by a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certified provider.
Providers who are interested in participating in the Autism Demonstration Project or who want more information should visit the
TriWest Provider Portal.
Participation in the autism demonstration project is voluntary. You can find out more about the benefits under the autism demonstration
project by calling your
ECHO case manager.
