TriWest Recognized for Online Outreach to Military Community
PHOENIX — Three online resources created for TRICARE beneficiaries by TriWest Healthcare Alliance were recently recognized with American Design Awards from Graphic Design USA.
"These awards symbolize TriWest's outstanding ability to use the Web as an effective medium to reach military service members and their families anytime, anywhere with educational resources and clinical support tools," said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. "The resources also help our case managers provide seamless care for our Wounded Warriors."
The prestigious awards were for the designs of the following websites:
- www.triwest.com – Last fall, TriWest unveiled a new version of its website, which included enhanced features and a fresh design to help service members and their families manage TRICARE benefits from anywhere with an Internet connection. New or enhanced site features included claims, authorizations and referrals, enrollment, life-changing events and healthy living pages.
- Healing Heroes Portal – An internal resource for care coordinators throughout TriWest’s 21-state West Region, to help provide the "warm transfer" of recovering service members and faster access to care.
- www.cdforthetroops.com – Official site of CD "For the Troops," a star-studded musical tribute to America’s military available for free to service members, their families and veterans. The site features artist information and directions on how to download the CD.
Graphic Design USA holds the nationwide graphic design competition annually. It is open to anyone and honors exceptional work including print and collateral, advertising and sales promotion, corporate identity and logos, Internet and interactive design, packaging and point of purchase, and broadcast and motion graphics.
The awards program has existed for more than four decades.
