Don’t Share Your Password!
Once you become a registered provider on the secure provider portal at www.triwest.com/provider, don’t share your password with others in your office. This can lead to someone changing the password, not telling you and locking you out from the portal. Then you can’t use all the great benefits of the secure provider portal.
There can also be potential protected health information (PHI) issues created if you share your password. Appropriate safeguards must be in place to provide security to PHI from an administrative, technical and physical standpoint. If someone else in your office needs access, they should register.
