A Marine’s Life Saved by Honor, Gratitude, and Rock & Roll

Gary Sinise, the Emmy and Oscar-winning actor who played Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump, has an extensive reach in the military community. Not only known for his acting, Mr. Sinise is also a musician and a humanitarian who has worked with active duty and Veteran causes for decades.

In 2011, he founded the Gary Sinise Foundation. Its mission: “to serve and honor our nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need by creating and supporting unique programs that entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen and build communities.”

TriWest has had the privilege to work with Mr. Sinise over the years on a variety of events, and we’re delighted to share this story. It is a testament to the impact one person (or in this case, one band) can have on someone’s life.
