PHOENIX (June 18, 2024) — Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) statistics reveal that hearing problems are the most common service-connected disability among Veterans.

Untreated hearing problems such as tinnitus (ringing in the ears), hearing loss and auditory processing issues are frequent hearing impairments that impact millions of Veterans, VA reports.
