TriWest Employees Join Phoenix Community for Memorial Day Remembrance of Arizona’s Heroes
PHOENIX (June 10, 2024) — As part of Memorial Day remembrances, TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) employees in Phoenix joined their community to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice by placing U.S. flags at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
Days before the holiday, TriWest employees joined other community volunteers to pay personal tribute to Service members who died in combat by placing flags at their gravesites. Flags were also placed for those who died later as Veterans.
“Since our founding in 1996, TriWest is always looking for ways to give back to those who serve and have served in our nation’s military,” said Glenn Gray, TriWest vice president of Military & Veteran Engagement. “Placing flags at Arizona’s National Memorial Cemetery was one of those special instances where we were able to honor the nation’s fallen heroes right before Memorial Day.”
