U.S. Veterans Magazine Named TriWest as a 2021 Top Veteran-Friendly Company
Phoenix, AZ (August 10, 2021) – TriWest Healthcare Alliance, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, announced that it has been named to U.S. Veterans Magazine’s (USVM) 2021 Best of the Best list for Top Veteran-Friendly Companies.
Hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies were polled for this year’s Best of the Best evaluations, which included categories for Top Veteran-Friendly Companies, Top Supplier Diversity Programs, Top Government & Law Enforcement Agencies, and Top Veteran-Friendly Schools.
According to USVM, the goal of its annual evaluations is “to not only bring the latest information and guidance to our readers, but also encourage active outreach and diversity policies among corporations and government agencies.”
“TriWest Healthcare Alliance is thrilled to be honored with this recognition,” said TriWest Vice President of Human Capital Jeanne Ong. “At TriWest, we respect and admire the experience Service members gained and the sacrifices they made while serving our country in the U.S. Armed Forces. We are proud of our Veteran employees, and we encourage qualified Veterans to consider joining TriWest.”
Currently, TriWest is privileged to support the health care needs of America’s Veterans, offering access to high quality provider networks and excellent customer service through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network in Regions 4 and 5, including the Pacific Islands. For 17 years, TriWest administered the Department of Defense TRICARE program.
“I can think of no better qualification to help us serve those who served than hiring those who themselves are a part of the military and Veteran communities,” said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. “We’re honored to be recognized for our commitment to Veterans through employment,” he added. “For 25 years, serving America’s military and Veterans has been our sacred mission, and we are proud to be dedicated to this important work, and to hiring those who have that same mindset.”
