This award recognizes large contact center operations that are judged by 20 key efficiency and effectiveness performance indicators for contact centers nationwide with more than 251 agents. Winners demonstrated the ability to consistently provide superior service and financial performance based on metrics such as average contact handle time, average speed to answer questions, and customer and agent satisfaction.

This national award honors employers who hire Veterans, disabled Veterans and older workers. The award is presented at The American Legion's national convention each year. In order to be eligible for the award, nominees must have at least 10 percent of its workforce made up of Veterans; must have been in business for at least five years; employment cannot be restricted to Veterans only; and must be a private sector employer.

This national award recognizes employers for their unique support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. To qualify, an employer must be nominated by one of its Guard or Reserve employees, or a family member. The ESGR Extraordinary Employer Award is only available to companies who have received the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award or the Pro Patria Award in the past.
