The U.S. Department of Labor honored TriWest Healthcare Alliance with the prestigious HIRE Vets Medallion Award for its ongoing commitment to recruiting, hiring and retaining Veterans. It is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who place an unparalleled priority on Veteran employment. Recipients must meet rigorous employment, retention and integration assistance criteria. TriWest earned the highest level of Platinum for meeting or exceeding all requirements of the program.

2020 American Legion Large Employer of Veterans Award

This national award honors employers who hire Veterans, disabled Veterans and older workers. The award is presented at The American Legion's national convention each year. In order to be eligible for the award, nominees must have at least 10 percent of its workforce made up of Veterans; must have been in business for at least five years; employment cannot be restricted to Veterans only; and must be a private sector employer.

2020 Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Extraordinary Employer Support Award

This national award recognizes employers for their unique support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. To qualify, an employer must be nominated by one of its Guard or Reserve employees, or a family member. The ESGR Extraordinary Employer Award is only available to companies who have received the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award or the Pro Patria Award in the past.
