Pat's Run 2026

TriWest Employees Join Thousands to Honor Sacrifice in Pat’s Run 2026

PHOENIX (May 13, 2026) — On Saturday, April 11, in Tempe, Ariz., the 22nd Pat’s Run took place with thousands of enthusiastic participants running and walking its 4.2 mile route to honor Pat Tillman’s U.S. Army military service and sacrifice.

Organized by the Pat Tillman Foundation, the popular annual event raises funds for its Tillman Scholars.

This year, 42 TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) employees joined with thousands of other participants to recognize the proud service legacy of Tillman.

As a former Arizona State University and Arizona Cardinals professional football player, Tillman left a successful pro career after the 9/11 terrorist attacks to serve his nation.

After his loss in Afghanistan in 2005, family and friends of Tillman organized Pat’s Run, a fundraising event for the Tillman Scholars program.

An original event sponsor, TriWest has been a strong supporter of Pat's Run, partnering when there were only about 5,000 participants.
