Steve Maddox

Steve Maddox is the Chief Operating Officer at TriWest Healthcare Alliance, where he leads the company’s operational functions including Clinical Operations, Provider Network, Customer Service, and Information Technology. In this role he drives enterprise performance, operational excellence, and mission delivery in support of TriWest’s commitment to expanding access to high quality care for the military and Veteran communities.

A 10-year Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps with deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, Steve brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience spanning healthcare, management consulting, and operations for private equity backed businesses. His career reflects a track record of building high performing teams, leading through complexity, and aligning organizational capabilities with strategic growth priorities.

Prior to his current role at TriWest, Steve served as the interim CEO of US Family Health Plan Brighton Marine, based in Boston. He was also a Managing Director at M3 Partners. Earlier in his career, he held executive leadership positions at Envision Healthcare, AMSURG, and Deloitte Consulting where he led strategy, operations, and transformation initiatives for numerous clients.

Steve earned his Master of Business Administration from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University.
