Introducing 'Inspiring Stories' – A New TriWest Behavioral Health Site Sharing Stories of Healing
PHOENIX (March 1, 2023) – TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) recently launched a new 'Inspiring Stories' microsite on its Behavioral Health web page featuring personal accounts, inspiration and resources for Veterans, family members, and others who have struggled with mental health challenges through various life incidents, events and traumas.
With 'Inspiring Stories,' TriWest created a unique page within its Behavioral Health site to share the personal stories of Veterans, TriWest employees, and others whose first-hand experience with trauma, depression, social, marital and other life events changed their lives and set them on a path to healing.
According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), nearly 20% of U.S. adults are affected by mental health conditions. Sharing life experiences and challenges are one way to initiate and normalize conversation about mental health and inspire treatment toward recovery.
The new 'Inspiring Stories' resource will highlight the personal accounts from those sharing their experiences to help encourage conversation about mental health struggles.
In addition to the first series of accounts of Veterans, TriWest family members, and friends who have carried mental health challenges, 'Inspiring Stories' also has resources, contacts and information where visitors can learn more about behavioral and mental health issues and beginning the journey to healing.
