Women Veterans Day: TriWest Employee Carries Determination from Army Service into Community
PHOENIX (June 12, 2023) – Wendy Wells, Contact Center Supervisor at TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) and a former U.S. Army Combat Medic, has achieved many accomplishments in her proud health care career.
She served in action during the Iraq War, proudly earning her Combat Medic Badge – an Army decoration only achieved while providing aid in an active firefight.
At TriWest, Wells also has earned a reputation as a leader who gains the respect and appreciation of team members, even after they have taken new roles in the company.
Wells' leadership is not limited to her contributions in her professional career. She is also strongly driven to take a highly service-oriented approach in supporting her community.
Her community leadership recently resulted in her selection as a local finalist for a nationwide "Remarkable Women" contest based on her military service and ongoing local support for Veterans in her El Paso, Texas, community.
In recognition of Women Veterans Day, TriWest is proudly sharing Wells' story in enthusiastic support of women Veterans who contribute far beyond their military service.
