TriWest Provider Empowers Veterans with Accessible Mental Health Support
PHOENIX (August 7, 2024) — For Veterans and Service members, serving our nation comes with great pride and honor.
But military life often includes many challenges for those who serve including separation from loved ones, frequent transfers, and lengthy overseas deployments. Even after serving, returning to civilian life can be difficult to navigate.
These challenges can be compounded by service-related mental health conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety.
TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) as the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) partner for Community Care Network Regions 4 and 5 supports Veterans’ mental health through expert providers delivering behavioral care they may need.
Jodie Nierintz is a licensed therapist at Telemynd, one of several telebehavioral health care platforms within TriWest’s robust provider network. Nierintz relies on her telebehavioral health care expertise to bring mental health support into Veterans’ lives.
Learn about how Nierintz and other mental health experts use accessible telebehavioral health therapy to improve Veterans’ lives in this new Healthy Homefront® feature.
