TRICARE Beneficiary Shares How TriWest Has Helped on Her Journey to Quit Smoking and Vaping

PHOENIX (January 30, 2026) — Shayla Delgado of Colorado didn’t know the impact that a phone call from TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) would bring to her life and overall health.

Delgado, the military spouse of a U.S. Army Combat Medic Veteran and TRICARE beneficiary, had smoked cigarettes for about three years and considered herself a light smoker. About five years ago Delgado started vaping nicotine.
