TriWest Reaffirmed as a Top 100 Inspiring Workplace
PHOENIX (July 9, 2026) — TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) has once again been named to The Inspiring Workplaces Group’s Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces in North America list, marking its fifth consecutive year of recognition for fostering a strong “PeopleFirst” culture.
The honor reflects TriWest’s unwavering commitment to its employees, military, and Veteran communities. As President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. notes, the company’s culture of excellence and dedication to serving our nation’s heroes is at the core of everything we do. In addition to being named to the Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces list, TriWest was honored with an Inspiring Workplaces Culture and Purpose Award.

The Inspiring Workplaces Group evaluates workplaces on six key criteria: culture and purpose, leadership, wellbeing, inclusion, employee voice, and employee experience. TriWest’s diverse workforce includes Veterans, military retirees, spouses, and National Guard/Reserve members, all upholding core values of integrity, service, collaboration, compassion, innovation, and excellence.
“As the person who had the honor to represent TriWest at this special event, it gave me a lot of pride when our name was shown on the screen,” says Scott Fortin, Director, Health Plan Communications. “The Culture and Purpose award especially stood out to me since its rewarding to work for a culturally driven and purpose-oriented company each day and touch the lives of our military, their families and Veterans.”
The recognition follows prior awards in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and comes as Inspiring Workplaces celebrates its 10th anniversary. Founder Matt Manners says that “PeopleFirst” is not just a feel-good approach but a fundamental business strategy essential for long-term success in an evolving workplace landscape.
