VA Support and Resources Are Available Immediately for Veterans Facing Life Challenges
WASHINGTON (February 3, 2025) — Veterans at any stage of life can face challenges that seem overwhelming and lead to unexpected crisis.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) wants Veterans to know they are not alone and there are professionals immediately available for support.
According to VA, there are many ways for Veterans or family members to reach out if a Veteran is facing challenge and needs immediate help.
VA’s “Don’t wait. Reach out.” campaign is one important and useful resource that connects Veterans and their loved ones with resources and tools that are specific to their needs, VA says.
Whether Veterans seek immediate help or prefer researching options at their own pace, “Don’t wait. Reach out.” is designed to meet Veterans where they are, VA emphasizes.
In addition, VA offers other important mental health resources that can guide Veterans facing challenges and need to reach out.
