TriWest Healthcare Alliance Brings 240 Positions to San Diego

New Operatons Center Employees to Administer the Veterans Choice Program

SAN DIEGO, Calif., August, 28, 2015 — TriWest Healthcare Alliance announced the company is hiring 240 employees in San Diego at its new Operations Center which is scheduled to open on September 8, 2015. The company is actively recruiting qualified candidates to serve the health care needs of America’s Veterans throughout 28 states, and hopes to attract as many Veterans as possible to fill the positions.

The addition of the San Diego Operations Center, which serves as a traditional call center, is part of a company-wide hiring expansion to accommodate current and future growth under the Veterans Choice Program (VCP). TriWest has seen a significant increase in health care requests from Veterans for their community health care needs, and VCP demand drives a need to add new employees to TriWest’s workforce.

TriWest President and CEO, David McIntyre, Jr., said expanding the company’s workforce to San Diego was an easy decision considering the strong Veteran presence here.

“We made a concentrated effort to expand our workforce in San Diego due to the city’s prominent military and Veteran population and the commitment to the Veterans Economic Communities Initiative,” said McIntyre. “We are honored to offer new career opportunities in the San Diego community for those interested in serving our nation’s Veterans. We are proud to be coming to San Diego where we ultimately will be serving Veterans who reside in the area and call Southern California their home.”

TriWest is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a wide variety of career opportunities in clinical and non-clinical roles such as Patient Service Representatives, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, Behavioral Health, Nurses, Medical Operations and Customer Service.
